About This Package

Maafushi is the local island most visitors choose when they want the Maldives without resort prices. It is small enough to walk around in half an hour, and it has a tourist beach, a row of cafes on the sand and boats leaving every morning for the reefs.

You stay three nights at Icom Marina Sea View, in a deluxe room with a balcony over the sea, with breakfast and dinner included. A shared speedboat brings you from the airport in about 40 minutes.

The second day is a half-day boat trip. You snorkel at two reefs, eat lunch on a sandbank, and look for dolphins on the way back. The crew films you under water and sends you the video. The third day is free for the beach and for anything else you want to add.

Practical Tips

The last shared speedboat to Maafushi leaves the airport at about 6 pm. If your flight lands later, we book a private boat or a first night in Hulhumalé and requote.
Swimwear is for the tourist beach, which is signposted. Cover up in the village.
No alcohol is sold on Maafushi. A day visit to a resort is the way to have a drink, and we can add one.
