About This Package

Hulhumalé is the island next to the airport, joined to it by a road, so you are in your hotel about 20 minutes after you leave the terminal. That makes it the simplest base in the Maldives, and the right one when your flight lands in the evening after the island boats have stopped.

You stay three nights in a sea-view room at Hotel Lonuveli, on the beach side of the island. The second day is a full-day boat trip. You snorkel over a reef, stop on a sandbank in the open sea, visit a local island for lunch and look for dolphins on the way back.

The third day is free. Hulhumalé has a long public beach, cafes along the seafront and water sports you can pay for there. It is a town, not a resort island, so alcohol is not sold and swimwear is for the tourist beach only.
