Maafushi Island Holiday

About This Package
Four nights on Maafushi give you what three do not: time for two boat trips and still two days with nothing planned. This is the trip for people who come to the Maldives for the sea itself.
The first trip is the classic one. You snorkel at three reefs, look for dolphins, and eat lunch on a sandbank with the sea all round. The second goes further, to Vaavu Atoll, where you swim beside nurse sharks, which are harmless, and stand in the shallows with stingrays.
You stay in a sea-view room with breakfast. Dinner is left to you, because Maafushi has more places to eat than any other local island, among them Indian restaurants with vegetarian dishes. The last full day is free.

Practical Tips
- The last shared speedboat to Maafushi leaves the airport at about 6 pm. If your flight lands later, we book a private boat or a first night in Hulhumalé and requote.
- You do not need to be a strong swimmer. Life jackets are given on every trip, and the crew stays in the water with you.
- Boat trips are moved to another day when the sea is rough, which happens most between June and August.
