About This Package

The Maldives has two kinds of island, and they feel like different countries. A local island has a village, a mosque, cafes and a harbour full of excursion boats. A resort island has one hotel, a bar, and nobody on it but guests and staff. This trip gives you two nights of each.

You start on Maafushi, in a sea-view hotel with breakfast and dinner, and take a half-day boat trip to snorkel and to stand on a sandbank. On the third day a speedboat takes you, by way of the airport jetty, to a resort in North Malé Atoll.

At the resort you have a villa near the beach and an all-inclusive plan, so the last two days cost nothing more. Doing the active days first and the resort last is deliberate: you finish the holiday rested.

Practical Tips

The last shared speedboat to Maafushi leaves the airport at about 6 pm. If your flight lands later, we book a private boat or a first night in Hulhumalé and requote.
A water villa at the resort can replace the beach villa. Ask us and we price it for your dates.
Alcohol is served at the resort and not on Maafushi.
