Vietnam North to South

About This Package
The whole country in eight days, from the Old Quarter of Hanoi to the markets of Ho Chi Minh City, with the two flights inside Vietnam included. You fly into Hanoi and home from Ho Chi Minh City, so no day is spent going back the way you came.
The north gives you Hanoi and a night on Ha Long Bay. The centre gives you the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills and an evening in Hoi An. The south is the fastest-moving part: the Cu Chi tunnels, the colonial centre of Ho Chi Minh City, and a boat day in the Mekong Delta among the orchards and canals.
Eight days is the shortest trip that covers all three regions. If you would rather see two regions and stay longer, Classic Vietnam is the same route without the south.

Visa & Practical Info
Practical Tips
- Put Noi Bai, Hanoi, as the entry airport on your e-visa. Flying home from Ho Chi Minh City is fine on the same visa.
- Pack for two climates between November and March: a jacket for Hanoi and Ha Long, and summer clothes for the south.
- The Cu Chi tunnels are narrow and low. A short section is widened for visitors, and you can skip it and watch from above.
