Ubud Culture Trail

About This Package
Ubud is the green, hilly middle of Bali: rice fields, temples, craft villages and dance. This trip stays there for all four nights and leaves the beach out, which suits travellers who want culture and cool air more than nightlife.
One day covers the temples and terraces close to Ubud, with the volcano view at Kintamani. A second goes west to the lake temple at Bedugul and the wide terraces at Jatiluwih. The last full day stays in town, for the Monkey Forest, a waterfall and a cooking class.
Ubud is about an hour and a half from the airport. If you also want beach days, the Bali Couple Holiday pairs Ubud with Seminyak.

Practical Tips
- Ubud is cooler and wetter than the coast. Bring a light jacket and a rain layer.
- On the last day we leave Ubud about four and a half hours before an international flight.
- Temples ask you to cover your shoulders and knees. A sarong and sash are lent at the gate of the larger ones.
