About This Package

A week for two, with the beach first and the city at the end. You change planes in Kuala Lumpur on the way in and go straight to Langkawi, so the first four nights are in one 4-star resort on the beach with nothing to pack.

Only three outings are planned on the island. The sunset dinner cruise sails out among the small islands as the light goes, with dinner on board. The cable car and the Sky Bridge take a morning. A private boat goes through the Kilim mangroves past the limestone cliffs. The other two days are left empty on purpose.

The trip ends with two nights in Kuala Lumpur, for a city tour, the shopping, and the Petronas Twin Towers lit at night. We decorate the room in Langkawi for your arrival and arrange a cake. Tell us the date.

Practical Tips

Fill in the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card online within three days before you land. It is separate from the eVISA and you need both.
Langkawi's dry months are December to March, which is also the wedding season in Nepal. From September to November expect rain most afternoons, and the cruise may be moved to another evening.
The Langkawi cable car stops in strong wind and closes for maintenance for about two weeks each July. If it is closed on your day we move it to another day of your stay.
Bring your marriage certificate or wedding card if you want the hotel's honeymoon extras. Some resorts ask for it at check-in.
