About This Package

A Malaysia trip planned around children. The direct flight from Kathmandu keeps the journey short, the family stays in one hotel for all four nights, and the days are built on the two theme parks Malaysian families go to themselves.

Sunway Lagoon takes a whole day: a water park with a wave pool and slides, a ride park and a small wildlife park, all on one ticket and half an hour from the hotel. Genting Highlands is the other big day. The cable car climbs over the rainforest to 1,800 metres, and the ticket to the Genting SkyWorlds outdoor park is included, with Batu Caves on the way up for the grandparents.

The city tour is a morning only, and it ends at Aquaria KLCC, where a moving walkway runs through a tunnel under the sharks and rays. Children's prices depend on their ages and whether they need their own bed. Tell us who is travelling and we quote for the whole family.

Practical Tips

Fill in the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card online within three days before you land. It is separate from the eVISA and you need both.
Sunway Lagoon and Genting SkyWorlds are both closed on Tuesdays outside Malaysian school holidays. We arrange the order of the days around your dates so that neither park day falls on a Tuesday.
Bring swimwear for Sunway Lagoon. The water park asks for proper swimwear, and the park rents lockers and towels.
Genting is about ten degrees cooler than Kuala Lumpur. Pack a jacket for each child.
